History

Savin Kuk appears in 19th-century descriptions of Durmitor; hiking approaches took shape through the 20th century with Žabljak’s growth.

The ski area opened in the later 20th century with draglifts and chairs; in the 21st century summer operations, signed paths to the top and basic base facilities were added.
