Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is the main and effectively the only operating international airport in Slovenia. Located 26 km northwest of the capital, it is served by Air France, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Swiss, British Airways, LOT, and other carriers. An airport bus connects to central Ljubljana in about 50 minutes, with taxis and transfers also available. The airport is a convenient starting point for Slovenia's top attractions – Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Triglav National Park, and Postojna Cave are all relatively close by.
