History
The strip by the Old Town walls has long served as the town’s bathing spot under the name Brijeg od Budve. After 1960s film shoots on the Budva coast, the colloquial name “Ričardova Glava” stuck, referencing “The Long Ships”.
From the late 20th c. the area was fitted out as an urban beach with bar terraces and decks; the Mogren walkway turned it into a staple stop on Budva’s seaside stroll.
