Tirana Airport is the busiest airport in Albania, located 11 km northwest of the capital. In 2024, it surpassed 10 million passengers for the first time. The airport is a hub for Wizz Air and is served by dozens of airlines including Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, British Airways, and Ryanair.
The Rinas Express bus connects the airport to central Tirana in 20–30 minutes, and taxis are readily available. Facilities include duty-free shops, currency exchange, and comfortable waiting areas.
