Sari Saltik Cave (Shpella e Sarisalltikut) is a Bektashi holy site on Mount Sarisaltik, 10 km from Kruja. The cave sits at 1,176 m above sea level, measures 15 m deep and 4 m high, and contains a sacred spring. Beside it stands a small mosque (masjid) – believed to be the oldest in Albania – housing the tomb of the Sufi saint Sari Saltik.
You can drive up from Kruja on a paved mountain road (~10 km, 20–30 min) or hike from the castle – 3 km with 800 m elevation gain, about 2 hours uphill. The trail starts from Hotel Panorama at 400 m altitude.
Entry is free. From the summit, panoramic views stretch to the Adriatic coast, the Fushë-Kruja plain, and surrounding mountain ranges. Combine with Kruja Castle and the Old Bazaar for a full day trip from Tirana.
