Qatar is compact and city-centred, so the experiences split cleanly: the desert on one side, Doha's waterfront and culture on the other. A day or two covers the headline sights.
Shared desert safaris run around QAR 150–300 per person; dhow cruises and city tours are cheaper. Prices climb around major events.
